Our Story
Hi!
I’m Helen Cotton - founder of Wedding Venues in Devon and co-owner of Camel Studio, a wedding venue tucked away in the Cornish countryside.
Since opening our doors in 2020, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with couples and creative professionals across the wedding industry. That journey led me to launch Wedding Venues in Cornwall - a platform designed to spotlight the region’s most exceptional venues and trusted suppliers in one beautifully curated place.
The response in Cornwall has been truly inspiring. In just a few short months, the directory has grown into a trusted go-to for couples and a vibrant hub for over 40 engaged members. It’s shown me what’s possible when quality, community, and creativity come together.
With the support of a brilliant team around me, I felt the time was right to extend this vision into Devon - a county equally rich in charm, talent, and unforgettable places to say "I do."

With a background in television production, documentary filmmaking and the charity sector, Helen brings a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to everything she does. Her passion for community and storytelling is the heart of this venture.
